On April 10th, Los Angelenos celebrated "CicLAvia" which is an event centered around cycling and community involvement.
Streets are temporarily closed to vehicular traffic, creating a web of public spaces between businesses, residences, and recreation.

What a great idea, and one that must've taken a lot of work by the organizers.
Wouldn't it be great to see something like this in Rapid City?
